Where is the nearest?

Shortcut to Town

The High Street is less than a 5 minute walk from Acorn Cottage. Turn left out of the cottage to the end of the Neville Street. Take a left and, where the cobbles end, the steps of The Ginnel descend to your right. Follow these over the pretty Wilderness Beck, past a children’s playground and you will find yourself at the Devonshire Arms. Take a left to reach the High Street. 


To avoid steps, carry on along the cobble stones, past The Ginnel until the road becomes a footpath.  This opens onto Devonshire Place and you will emerge opposite the Bus Station.  

Airport

The Leeds Bradford Airport is a 19 mile (~40 minute) drive from Acorn Cottage. Postcode: LS19 7TU. 


  • By Bus: Multiple options, connecting through Ilkley or Otley.


  • By Train: Travel by train to Leeds Station, then take the connecting Bus Service to the airport.
